Sky Sports are reporting that Manchester United will hand promising 20 year old defender Even Hovland a trial, after his club Sogndal agreed to let the centre half go to Old Trafford for a training period.
Hovland recently missed large parts of Sogndal’s season with a broken leg so they were more than happy to let him go with Sogndal director Trond Fylling telling the club’s official site,
“We have accepted a trial since it’s good for he Even, has been out for large parts of the season and needs training more than a holiday.”
With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the head of the reserve team, United have strengthened their links in Norway and recently asked Sondre Tronstad back for a second trial. This deal could further prove a successful move for United in the Scandinavian country.
