Lots of Wolves fans were incensed by the decision to give Leicester City a penalty during the first half of their Premier League game at the King Power Stadium.
There was a sense of injustice from the men in gold and black after the Foxes’ Dennis Praet rocketed the ball at an unaware Max Kilman in the penalty area and it struck his arm from a very short distance.

Referee Anthony Taylor was called over to look at the pitch-side monitor by the VAR official and analysed the footage back in slow motion. As a result, he pointed to the spot and Jamie Vardy gave the hosts an early lead (via Fotmob).
It could have been two as Leicester were awarded another penalty six minutes before half time. But this time, Wolves’ goalkeeper Rui Patricio went the right way and saved the Englishman’s effort to keep Nuno Espirito Santo’s side in contention for all three points.

With this in mind, supporters were incensed by the decision, criticising the technology which was already a hugely debated topic before this afternoon’s affair.
