Coutinho has been on fire for Liverpool so far this season – and it seems that he is taking his fine domestic form on to the international stage.
Earlier this week, Coutinho’s native Brazil played host to Argentina – in what is often one of the most hotly contested derbies in world football.
In typical Coutinho fashion, the young Brazilian silenced his Brazilian doubters by popping up with a wonder goal in the first half to put Brazil 1-0 up.

How good was that?
That being said, the Liverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern aren’t too surprised – they see him produce magic like that seemingly on a weekly basis.
Brazil romped home against their rivals, and the game finished 3-0.
Coutinho has been in excellent form for Liverpool so far this season, having already contributed 5 goals and 5 assists in the Premier League.
