Many Watford fans have voiced their opinion over a club tweet which went out yesterday – and let’s just say they aren’t very happy about it.

The club account tweeted a picture of Ben Foster with his hands in the air during a match with the caption “@Ben Foster’s feeling that #MondayMotivation”.
Watford were just minutes away from an enormous victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, before a Dele Alli goal arrived from a lack of communication between Ben Foster and Kiko Femenia. For this reason – with Watford still yet to record a league win all season – Watford fans weren’t happy about the Twitter post.
In fact, not many Watford fans tried to hide their fury, with some demanding that the club take the tweet down, with others calling it ridiculous and one fan even claiming they are feeling “angry and annoyed” because of Foster.
Indeed, he isn’t having one of the greatest seasons of his life to date, to say the least. The 31-year-old this term has an average of just 6.01/10 on WhoScored. WhoScored gave Foster just a 5.4 for his performance on Saturday, as well as a mark for making an error which led to the Alli goal.
Here are some of the replies from fans…
Take this down. You are setting him up for a lot of abuse based on recent performances. Not what he or the team needs at the moment

These clowns are on at least £50k per week. Let that sink in. That’s me working 75 weeks to earn the same.

I absolutely love foster but is this fair on both us or even himself?
