Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha has struggled so far this season, scoring just twice in his 17 appearances, and he’s getting plenty of stick from Watford fans after Saturday’s clash between the two sides.
Those two goals came against Liverpool and Burnley recently. The Ivorian had started the season by going 13 games without finding the back of the net.
His lack of firepower in front of goal resembles that of his teammates’; Roy Hodgson’s men have scored 14 times in their 16 league games this term, with only Watford scoring fewer.
He hasn’t enjoyed his tangles with the Hornets too much over the years; Zaha was particularly unhappy in 2016 when Watford’s mascot, Harry the Hornet, appeared to mock the forward for diving.
The two sides played out a goalless draw in the Premier League over the weekend, with Zaha being booked in the 38th minute.
Zaha wasn’t happy with the decision to award a yellow card, venting his frustration on his personal Instagram account (via Evening Standard).
Crystal Palace’s official Twitter account took a similar view, posting the video with a shrugging emoji.

Zaha was lucky not to be sent off in the first half. Lots of off-the-ball tantrums. He almost looked like he was going to take the ball and go home. Thicker skin needed.
