Our Sheffield Wednesday fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping to see their side get their campaign kick-started this weekend with a huge game against Nottingham Forest coming up.

Wednesday have not had the best start to their campaign with them struggling for goals at the moment.

On the upside, they are not conceding many either and so if they can be a bit more efficient in front of goal they will surely start climbing up the table as the season really begins.

Certainly, Owls fans will be wanting to see their side have a good season with them celebrating their 150th birthday right now and celebrations are well underway.

Indeed, they recently broke a world record for the biggest cake ball – as per their Twitter account – and so, with that in mind, here is the best of the reaction to the achievement:

Drop it on nuhiu’s head

Well done. You can add it to the record for having the worst/most incompetent kit release in the 150 year history of the club, and all time.

— SWFC4EVA (@The5herriff) 3 September 2017

Imagine being more bothered about a cake than a kit for fans, players performing, catering in the ground, ticket prices etc etc…

We are becoming a joke … get a grip of this 150th anniversary! !

You must be proud. No kit. But here. Have some cake
