Our Celtic fans here in the Transfer Tavern have thoroughly enjoyed this season and the latest news about Craig Gordon has certainly boosted that feeling.
The Bhoys have been flying this season under Brendan Rodgers and look like they really could go the season unbeaten.
Indeed, the title is just a handful of points away now, too, and so focus is surely already turning to ways they can make their dominance even stronger for next year.
It looks like they’ve started that, too, with the signing of Craig Gordon on a new contract to 2020 – as confirmed by the club’s official site.
An experienced star in between the sticks, the Scot has done a fine job with what he has been asked to do this season.
Admittedly, he’s not always had a busy time of it in goal but when called upon he’s usually responded and most Celtic fans on Twitter are pretty happy with the deal even if some are aware an inanimate object could probably do the job at times…
