‘Welcome to Manchester’ - Man United fans pray for top signing ahead of reported talks

The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are confident of securing the services of Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale after his Champions League final winning performance. The Welshman showed what he could do when he scored a sublime overhead kick just minutes after coming off the bench in Kiev on Saturday, before his comments after the game gave a number of fans belief that Bale could be leaving Madrid this summer.

Bale left Tottenham Hotspur in summer 2013 as he signed for a then world record transfer fee to Real Madrid. The Spanish giants believed they were signing the Welsh wizard who had led Spurs to a 5th place finish the season before with 26 Premier League goals, however, injuries and a lack of faith from Zinedine Zidane have seen the versatile superstar struggle in Spain over the last few seasons.

Now though, the winger could be on his way, following reports from Sky Sports that his agent would meet the club to discuss his future. The Red Devils certainly have the financial capability to bring any player to play under Jose Mourinho and given the attacking talents they already possess in Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba, it wouldn’t be amiss to see another superstar walking through the doors at Old Trafford.
