Kevin Campbell believes that Hamza Choudhury would be a fantastic signing for West Bromwich Albion.
WBA should move for Choudhury
The Baggies have been linked with a move for Choudhury, with a loan deal set to be the most likely option (The Telegraph).
Speaking to Football Insider, Campbell believes the midfielder would be a brilliant capture for Sam Allardyce, and that he is exactly what the Midlands outfit’s boss is looking for. He said:
“I think he would be a great signing.
“He is tough, tenacious and aggressive in the midfield – exactly what Sam Allardyce is looking for. He has got bags of energy and he does not give up.
“That is the type of mentality West Brom need to stay in the league this season. I think that would be a really good signing for them.”
Good capture
It is hard to disagree with Campbell – Choudhury could well be a very good signing. As the former Premier League striker explains, the £7.2m-valued 23-year-old (Transfermarkt) is a tenacious presence in the middle of the park, and as the Baggies fight to stay in the top flight, they will need plenty of desire and commitment.

Given Choudhury has played just three times in the league so far this campaign (Transfermarkt), this is a deal that would benefit all involved – West Brom would be bringing in a player with Premier League experience, while the midfielder would get the playing time he is likely craving. With just over a week of the transfer window left, they will need to move quickly to get a deal over the line.
