West Brom: Fans hammer Kyle Bartley

West Bromwich Albion faced off against Crystal Palace today in a huge game for both clubs and Albion’s Kyle Bartley was on the receiving end of plenty of criticism from the club’s supporters.

Palace took the lead early on  in the game after Darnell Furlong turned the ball into his own net from Wilfred Zaha’s cross

Bartley was been given the captain’s armband for this match, but he struggled defensively and it was his foul that gave away the free-kick from which Palace opened the scoring.

The 29-year-old began his career at Arsenal and after a few loans and a stop at Swansea, he signed for WBA in 2018. He played a role in the club’s promotion last season, but judging by social media, that counts for little when it comes to getting judged on his displays.
