Some West Brom fans were left blasting the display of Romaine Sawyers in his club’s 5-0 home loss to Leeds United in the Premier League.
The 29-year-old played a quite comical back pass to Sam Johnstone which ended up in the back of his own net to put Marcelo Bielsa’s team 1-0 up, and that set the tone for the rest of the game.

Aside from the own goal, he was very poor in the match in general, racking up a pretty low 5.3 overall rating on Sofascore, the second-worst rating out of any player to have set foot on the field.
The defensive midfield player lost out on four of his duels in the clash, and also failed to make a single interception, while losing possession of the ball no fewer than 12 times (Sofascore) in what was a rather dismal evening for both him and his teammates.
