Footage shared by West Bromwich Albion’s official Twitter account showing a goal scored by former midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu has sparked fan comments.
With football at a current standstill, fans have been engaging with each other via various methods of social media and a latest tweet by West Brom has gained a good response.
Former midfielder Mulumbu was the subject of the highlight reel, showcasing a goal scored by the Congolese against rivals Aston Villa at the Hawthorns during his time at the club.
Mulumbu spent six years with the Baggies after joining them on an original loan deal from Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain in 2009.
The 33-year-old midfielder made 211 appearances in the colours of West Brom, playing a vital part in the Midlands club’s Premier League stint.
Sharing his famous strike against Villa from the 2011 fixture against the Claret and Blue side, Mulumbu was fondly remembered for his time at the club.
