West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to criticise Man City loan Tosin Adarabioyo’s performance against Nottingham Forest.
The 20-year-old defender was used as a right back yesterday at The City Ground, despite primarily playing as a centre back in his few performances for Man City.
The defender was lucky that his wayward first half back pass did not lead to the opening goal, after Lewis Grabban intercepted. But goalkeeper Sam Johnstone did a great job in scrambling to prevent Grabban getting a shot off. However, despite that error, he was also praised by some Baggies fans for his composure on the ball.
Despite the criticism towards the former England under-19 player, it seems fans were more disappointed in the position he was playing, rather than his actual ability, with many hoping that if he played in the middle of the field, he will be a solid asset to West Brom.
West Brom looked to be heading for a loss, but Matty Phillips’ powerful strike on 87 minutes earned his side a point, as both sides search for their first league win of the season.
This is what the fans had to say:
Adarabioyo is a bad defender. Having an absolute shocker for WBA here.

Tosin Adarabioyo has been tormented all night long by this Forest front line, never in a million years is he City quality.

And hopefully we can all accept that Adarabioyo is not a right back and that we must finally address the position before tea time tomorrow
