West Brom: Fans react to transfer update on Musa

West Bromwich Albion have decided not to sign free agent Ahmed Musa.

The Baggies were heavily linked with a move for the Nigeria international – he had a trial at the Hawthorns (The Daily Mail), while he was even said to have had a medical at the club (Football Insider). Given that he was not contracted to another outfit, he did not need to be signed during the January transfer window.

However, it now seems that Sam Allardyce have decided against making a move for the £5.4m-valued 28-year-old (Transfermartkt). They were said to be put off by the £60,000-a-week wages he was looking for, while they also believe they have better options already available at the club (The Express and Star).
