These West Bromwich Albion fans are delighted by the news that Mbaye Diagne will only cost £6m to sign permanently if they stay in the Premier League, and £4m if they are relegated to the Championship.
Diagne made the move to the Hawthorns on loan from Galatasaray until the end of the season on Friday (wba.co.uk), and he was thrown into the squad for the side’s match against Fulham. Sam Allardyce then decided to bring him on at half-time, and the Senegal international made an instant impact as he provided the assist for Matheus Pereira’s strike in the 2-2 draw.

The Baggies have an option to sign the striker on a permanent basis, and the prices of that potential move has been revealed depending on where the Midlands outfit finish this term (Fotospor).

“I think if that’s true that is an amazing price, the Super Lig is closer to the level of the Championship and he has a golden boot in that division. I think he will change the structure of our whole side just by the type of player he is”

“Very fair. It is early days of course but it wasn’t just his ability that impressed me yesterday, but his attitude. He genuinely looked like he wanted to impress and make a difference. I hope that continues.”
