According to John Percy of The Telegraph, West Ham United’s Robert Snodgrass will have a medical at West Bromwich Albion today ahead of an 18-month move to the Hawthorns.
As the Baggies lie 19th in the Premier League table, new manager Sam Allardyce is wasting no time in trying to boost his squad during this January transfer window. It looks like they will be adding Scotland international Snodgrass to the squad imminently.
The 33-year-old has been a bit-part player for the Hammers so far this campaign, appearing just three times in the Premier League. However, he has regularly impressed down the years, managing almost 100 goals throughout his career. He could well be a valuable addition to the Midlands outfit if the deal goes through.
Would you like to sign Snodgrass?
The Baggies supporters, it seems, are delighted by the news, and they have taken to Twitter to respond to Percy’s post.
Let’s see what the fans had to say about Snodgrass below
“The Scottish Messi #WBA”
“Not against this at all. Our squad lacks players like Snodgrass who’ll give 100% every time he’s on the pitch. Could have a big impact in the dressing room, hopefully he does on the pitch too #WBA”
“PERCY AT THE BACK POSTTTT!!! #wba”
“That’s a start”
In other news, West Brom fans want to sign this Premier League rival.
