West Bromwich Albion fans praised the performance of second-half substitute Matheus Pereira following the 1-1 draw against Reading.
The Hawthorns faithful were reacting following a tweet from the club’s official Twitter account which highlighted the ‘positive’ performance from the Brazilian.
The 23-year-old came off the bench in the second half of Wednesday night’s fixture, playing just over 20 minutes.
The attacking midfielder had a positive impact on the game, coming off the bench to have the third-most shots for West Brom as they chased an equaliser.
The attacker was signed from Portuguese club Sporting CP on an initial loan deal with an option to buy for £9m.
Pereira is yet to make a start for Slaven Bilic’s side, coming off the bench in both of his appearances for the Midlands club so far.
Fans were positive about the impact from the Brazilian and took to Twitter to tweet their thoughts.

You can see with his touches that he’s a really clever player. More game time and he will boss it.
