West Bromwich Albion: Fans delighted with Jake Livermore’s performance

A number of West Bromwich Albion fans on Twitter were left gushing over Jake Livermore’s most recent performance following the victory against Luton Town.

The Baggies returned to the top of the Championship at the expense of the division’s worst side (regarding current league rankings) with goals from Donervon Daniels and Semi Ajayi in each half.

Indeed, fans were delighted with the display they saw from their captain, with many feeling it worthy to shout about on social media after the final whistle.

The 30-year-old played his role in helping lead his team to the 2-0 victory as he managed to achieve a match rating of 6.99 (WhoScored) whilst recording some solid statistics. The former Tottenham Hotspur man played one key pass to his team-mates, whereas he contributed significantly in defence. Livermore completed two tackles, one interception and blocked one shot, as well as making 30 passes.

West Brom fans on Twitter lauded the midfielder with some claiming he was “outstanding” whilst a few others suggested he was their man of the match.
