West Bromwich Albion fans have been pleading with the club to complete a deal for Gareth Barry after reports of a snag in the deal.
According to Express and Star, there was a clause in the original deal that saw Barry move from Everton to the Hawthorns in 2017 that stated the Baggies must pay a fee if he signs for a third-year.
However, manager Slaven Bilic is adamant the snag will be resolved and is keen to add the 38-year-old to his ranks if he can prove his fitness to the Croatian.
The former Everton man enjoyed a good spell with the Baggies after joining from Goodison Park. Barry made 55 appearances across two season, scoring two goals and assisting a further two (via Transfermarkt)
His 2018/2019 season was cut short after he suffered a serious knee injury which required surgery, with the veteran midfielder remaining at the club beyond his contract to take part in rehabilitation.
Despite all the issues, the fans are begging the club to get a deal done for the midfielder as they took to Twitter to react.

Barry was the best centre midfielder last season and you can’t rely on Sawyers and Livermore for the entire season for many reasons. Sam Field is injured. We may need Harper as well as Barry.
