West Bromwich Albion fans have been praising summer signing Semi Ajayi after the club tweeted out his statistics for the season so far.
The defender has started and finished all seven Championship games this season, completing 308 passes, winning 27 aerial duels, making 25 clearances and scoring one equalising goal away to Fulham (via Twitter). The 25-year-old has also won the joint-most aerial duels of any player in the West Brom squad this season (via WhoScored).
Ajayi joined the club from League One side Rotherham United in the summer on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee (via BBC).
The defender has had a monstrous impact on Slaven Bilic’s side with the side remaining unbeaten thus far in the Championship this season.
Fans were more than complimentary of their centre-back as they took to Twitter to praise his impact following his summer move.
