West Bromwich Albion fans reacted well to comments made by Ahmed Hegazi after the defender returned to full training yesterday.
The Egyptian commented on his return to training, saying that he was very happy to be back and that his ankle was feeling ‘fine’ (via West Brom).
The Egypt international has been out following his ankle surgery after Egypt’s run to the Round of 16 at the African Cup of Nations (via BBC).
Hegazi made 38 appearances in the Championship last season, as he formed part of the defence that reached the play-off semi-finals (via Transfermarkt).
The Baggies have enjoyed a brilliant start to the season, remaining unbeaten in all seven of their games in the second tier of English football.
Fans were more than pleased following the interview from Hegazi as they took to Twitter to show their pleasure for the international defender.
