West Ham: Fans react to Tony Cottee’s comments on Eberechi Eze and Ollie Watkins

A lot of West Ham fans are discussing whether they would like to see Eberechi Eze and Ollie Watkins at the club after Tony Cottee tweeted that he would love to see them at the Hammers.

The ex-striker made close to 300 appearances for West Ham in his two spells at the club, scoring 117 goals (Soccerbase). Eze, who is an attacking midfielder at QPR, has 11 goals and 7 assists this season (Transfermarkt) whilst Watkins, who is at Brentford, has 22 goals and 3 assists (Transfermarkt). Both are clearly having great campaigns and are both under the age of 25, so can achieve a lot more in their careers.

West Ham have already looked to the Championship for signings with Jarrod Bowen joining the Hammers from Hull in January for £19.17 million (Transfermarkt) and there is no doubt that they will look to buy more players from the league if Bowen has a successful end to the season.

Fans are speaking on Twitter about their thoughts on signing the two players:
