Fabian Balbuena set West Ham off on their way to an incredible comeback against Tottenham on Sunday.
For most of the match, the Hammers were second best, and with just eight minutes left in the game,
it looked as if Spurs would pick up a comfortable three points as they led 3-0. However, the Paraguay international headed in to make it 3-1, and an own goal from Davinson Sanchez and a stunning strike from Manuel Lanzini earned the Irons an unlikely point.
However, whilst he may have scored, it was far from the best display from the 29-year-old. He was at fault for the first goal, allowing Heung-min Son to cut inside and bend into the bottom corner, whilst he won just two from five duels.
Should Balbuena be dropped?
The Irons supporters were clearly far from impressed with Balbuena’s performance, and they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
Let’s see what the fans had to say about the display from Balbuena
Rice is having a stinker and Balbuena is the worst sportsman in history. ⚒

Balbuena worst player to wear the West Ham shirt?

I think Balbuena has been utterly appalling, goal means nothing after the shambles of a game he’s had

Balbuena shouldn’t be anywhere near first team

Balbuena was awful all game mate, looked terrible in comparison to his last two performances. Agree with coufal though has been immense.

Balbuena had a stinker, however Cress just ain’t right for centre half, so I’d put him out left for his crossing ability, drop Masuaka (sadly) and bring in Diop, rest of the team would stay
