West Ham fans have been reacting to the news that David Sullivan wants £600m if he is to sell the Hammers to a new owner.

Davids Sullivan and Gold are far from popular amongst the Irons supporters (hammersunited.com), and it does at least seem that they are willing to sell the club. However, according to Football Insider, Sullivan wants £600m, which does appear to be a little far-fetched.

After all, West Ham do not own their own stadium, regardless of how impressive an arena it is that they play at, while they have not competed in European competition since the 2006-07 campaign (excluding qualifiers). As a result, £600m would be an astronomical amount of money for an investor to pay.

The fans have been reacting to the news, and it is fair to say they are far from happy. They took to social media platform Twitter to share their thoughts on the matter.

Let's see what the fans had to say about the Sullivan news below

"Biggest LEGAL theft in history, to go from original investment of what £30-£50mil of which debt interest repayments are nearly £20mil over the last 10years so they have invested about £30mil to sell for £600mil. The old move from the Boleyn ground makes sense now don’t it people"

"Valuation is insane for a club that doesn’t own their own stadium. I’d be amazed if anyone bid anywhere near that. The sooner they’re out the better though!"
