West Ham United fans are far from happy with Sam Allardyce following comments from Ravel Morrison about his time with the Hammers.

Despite being lauded by Sir Alex Ferguson as a youngster, Morrison has failed to really settle at any club he has played for. It was perhaps with the Irons that he was at his best, though - in 24 matches, he scored five goals and provided two assists (Transfermarkt). His strike against Tottenham, when he ran half of the pitch before slotting in, still lives long in the memory.

He appeared on Rio Ferdinand's podcast to talk about his career, and he was asked about his time at West Ham. Morrison has now revealed that Allardyce, who currently manages West Brom in the Premier League, pushed him out of the club after he refused to change agents.

When asked if Allardyce's alleged request for him to change agents forced him out of the Hammers, Morrison said (as quoted by The Daily Star): "Erm… yeah. If I had the opportunity I would’ve stayed at West Ham all the way through. “I had offers to go to other teams, Newcastle, Fulham, but I enjoyed West Ham that much. The club, the people, the fans, I would’ve stayed there all the way through football.

"But look, Sam is a top guy, we just went through a difficult period, but in football stuff happens some times and it can be frustrating, it can be the best or the worst thing."

The comments have not gone down well with West Ham supporters, and they took to social media platform Twitter to share their thoughts.

"Bring him back in @WestHam. He deserves it. The fact that you let Big Sam operate like that at our club is criminal, what on earth is a manager doing forcing players to sign with agents?"
