West Ham United: Fans react as David Moyes guides club to fifth in the Premier League

Flocking to an ExWHUemployee tweet, plenty of West Ham fans cannot believe their club has climbed to fifth in the Premier League table – going on to hail the turnaround under David Moyes after the Hammers beat Aston Villa on Monday night.
An early goal from towering centre-back Angelo Ogbonna gave West Ham a very early lead before star opposition playmaker Jack Grealish equalised with a stunning deflected effort past Lukasz Fabianski.
However, soon after the restart, substitute Said Benrahma clipped in a floating cross to Jarrod Bowen who scored the eventual winning goal – with West Ham going on to survive the onslaught from Dean Smith’s side to climb into a Europa League spot.
Discussing the development surrounding their side’s lofty Premier League position, plenty of Hammers have had their say – find all of their best verdicts down below.
