West Ham United: Fans react to David Gold announcement on 5G at the London Stadium

Writing on Twitter, many West Ham United fans had words for controversial owner David Gold after he shared news that EE has turned on it’s 5G service at the London Stadium – with Hammers pouring in mixed reaction to the ‘really big news‘ on social media.
Gold, who has been at the centre of fan protests as part of the GSB ownership, has now attracted even more attention with his update that Hammers will benefit from more reliable mobile usage upon their return to the London Stadium.

The English capital has been moved back into Tier 3, with newly imposed coronavirus restrictions meaning the West Ham fan return has been put on hold.
Club owner Gold, writing on social media, confirmed that supporters will have have access to a 5G mobile network upon their return – with supporters having mixed responses.
