Writing on Twitter, Fabrizio Romano has dropped an enticing six-word update as GSB reportedly plot to sign Christian Eriksen in January – with the transfer guru name dropping West Ham among those interested and claiming ‘Inter want to sell him immediately‘.
Links with the Denmark star have surprisingly emerged over this last week, with journalist Nicolo Schira originally reporting that West Ham had opened talks over a loan deal for the former Tottenham star.
Should West Ham sign Eriksen?
Definitely, get the deal done

Romano drops Eriksen update
Romano, expanding on these rumours, has hinted that the Irons are in fact interested – name dropping them in amongst the likes of Paris-Saint Germain and Arsenal.
While nothing concrete has been submitted yet, Romano explains that Inter Milan are eager to offload Eriksen as soon as possible and hope to receive proposals from the interested parties.
GSB, who reportedly want to sign Eriksen, have been sent a clear message – with West Ham gifted a potential opportunity to instigate the 28-year-old’s Premier League return.
The Hammers, however, face stiff competition from London rivals Arsenal, not to mention PSG, and it’s questionable whether the club could afford Eriksen’s lofty £100,000-per-week wages.
Transfer Tavern take
However, if the club manage to ship off high earners like Andriy Yarmolenko this month, affording the playmaker on a potential loan deal starts to become more feasible.
West Ham have exhausted their domestic loan quota already with both Said Benrahma and Craig Dawson on temporary deals from English clubs, but they could bring in another one from abroad.
Whether or not the Irons lodge any serious proposals for the ‘amazing’ playmaker over the coming days remains to be seen.
