According to a report by the Scottish Sun, as shared by West Ham News on social media, GSB have been offered the chance to sign Craig Dawson on a £3 million permanent deal before the transfer window closes – resulting in plenty of West Ham United supporters erupting at this development.
Dawson, who has impressed for the Hammers since signing on loan from Watford last summer, has been at the centre of much speculation linking him with a permanent West Ham deal.
Club insiders Claret & Hugh recently claimed that West Ham could help themselves sign a domestic striker on loan this window if they decide to bag Dawson permanently, with The Sun now believing Watford have offered GSB that chance for just £3m before the end of this transfer window. One supporter called this measly fee the “bargain of the year”.
West Ham recently confirmed that Said Benrahma has been snapped up on a permanent basis, but only time will tell whether they’ll do the same with Dawson following Watford’s alleged offer.
However, flocking to this claim, plenty of Irons have erupted at the possibility of tying him down – find all of their best verdicts down below.
