According to a report from The Sun, via West Ham Fan Zone, GSB and the Irons have been told to pay £25million if they wish to sign Brentford striker Ivan Toney this summer – prompting many supporters to erupt as they claim this is a ‘bargain‘.
Toney has impressed for the Bees this campaign, scoring a head-turning 24 goals whilst assisting nine others in 30 Championship starts (WhoScored).
This has reportedly prompted serious interest from West Ham ahead of the summer, with reliable source ExWHUemployee recently supporting claims that the club are keeping tabs (West Ham Way Podcast).
Now, The Sun have joined in with an update of their own as GSB are allegedly sent a message to pay £25 million if they wish to secure a deal for the high-flying Englishman.
Flocking to this claim, plenty of Hammers buzzed at this supposed price tag – with many claiming it is a bargain whilst imploring the club to get it done.
