Speaking to Football Insider, Danny Mills has claimed that West Ham United could land a ‘bargain’ signing in Boulaye Dia – with multiple sources stating that GSB have commenced negotiations for the in-form forward.
Eurosport journalist Dean Jones originally broke that the Hammers had opened contact to sign Dia, later claiming that GSB were ‘ready‘ to pay £15 million.
When those reports died down, journalist Ekrem Konur reignited the fire by stating that West Ham actually offered around £8.9m with Reims demanding closer to £15m – but his desire to play in the Premier League could ‘strengthen’ GSB’s hand (Twitter).

Mills tips bargain for West Ham amid serious interest
Regardless of these conflicting claims, it’s safe to say that West Ham do hold a serious interest – with reliable club insider ExWHUemployee sharing that he is their ‘number one’ target (Patreon).
As these heavy links to Dia emerge and continue, regular BBC pundit Mills has tipped him to be a ‘bargain’ signing for the Irons as this potentially ‘brilliant news’ comes to light.
When asked by Football Insider whether they should pursue the Frenchman and if the touted £15m figure could be good value, he said:
