Writing on social media, plenty of West Ham United fans heaped praise on left-wing back Arthur Masuaku after his ‘exciting‘ display against Sheffield United this afternoon – with the DR Congo international often marauding down the flank.
Masuaku, who seems to be a key figure in David Moyes’ system as the attacking full-back, with Aaron Cresswell sitting just behind him in a a back three, was given license to roam forward with some dangerous play.

Despite being somewhat exposed defensively in flashes, the 27-year-old still enjoyed a solid afternoon – with some supporters particularly in awe of a ‘disgusting‘ nutmeg in the first half.
Given he contributed well to a solid win in Yorkshire, it’s fair to say the defender deserves his share of praise alongside the likes of Declan Rice and Angelo Ogbonna.
