West Ham United: Fans react to Aaron Cresswell’s post on Twitter

Fans of West Ham United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Aaron Cresswell commented on his 200th Premier League appearance for the club.

Since moving to West Ham from Ipswich town in what was a £4.28 million deal back in 2014, Cresswell has gone on to feature 225 times for the Hammers, chipping in with eight goals and providing 23 assists along the way.

So far this season, the £5.85 million-rated 30-year-old has highly impressed for David Moyes’ side over his 12 Premier League appearances, providing four assists, as well as making an average of 1.3 tackles, 0.9 interceptions and 2.7 clearances, culminating in an average WhoScored match rating of 7.04 – ranking him as the club’s third-best performer in the top flight.

The defender’s most recent appearance for the club came in their 2-1 victory over Leeds United on Friday, which also marked the 200th time the England international had featured for the club in the Premier League.

And, in reaction to this achievement, Cresswell took to Twitter, stating that he was proud of the feat, before going on to thank the fans for their support, as well as claiming that he is loving being a part of the West Ham squad, something which Hammers fans flocked to have their say on.
