According to an update by ExWHUemployee, West Ham United are monitoring Philadelphia Union left-back Kai Wagner – with the defender priced at around £3.5 million and well within GSB’s price range.
Wagner, who has burst on to the MLS scene in recent seasons, has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs including West Ham as the board reportedly keep tabs.
The 23-year-old, as well as being hugely promising, comes at a meagre price which could entice David Gold and co into a move – prompting many Hammers to react sarcastically on social media.
Lamenting the club’s small budget, plenty of supporters had their say over the lack of investment in star players – with this latest move drawing remarks amid concerns West Ham do not possess enough strength in depth.
