West Ham United manager David Moyes is now willing to sell midfielder Carlos Sanchez before the transfer deadline, that is according to a report from Football Insider.
The Colombian joined the Hammers in the summer of 2018, but has failed to make much of an impact at the London Stadium. Indeed he has been firmly out of favour this season and has started just one game in the Premier League, racking up just 113 minutes on the pitch (Transfermarkt).
He did start in their recent FA Cup defeat against Championship outfit West Brom, but after a poor performance, he was hauled off at half-time and replaced by Mark Noble (Transfermarkt).
According to the report Moyes is now ready to allow the 33-year-old to leave as he is looking for new central midfielders to bring in, with Sky Sports suggesting that Slavia Prague ace Tomas Soucek is close to completing a move to east London.
However, it seems most West Ham fans are sceptical that the club will be able to sell the 88-time Colombia international. Indeed, many have taken to Twitter to suggest that he has been so poor they would be surprised if anyone else wanted him. Here is what some had to say…
Who’s going to buy him?!

With the news that West Ham are prepared to sell Carlos Sanchez this transfer window – not sure what the view of the club is but the majority of the club’s fan base would be amazed to see any other club in world football actually pay money for such a poor, substandard footballer.

You wouldn’t offload him at a car boot sale mate.

Couldn’t give him away if you tried. Couldn’t even loan him out.
