There has been a very positive update surrounding securing current loanee Tomas Soucek on a permanent deal, and many West Ham fans have been reacting to the news.
It is believed that the East London side will try to find the cash “one way or another” to pursue a deal for the centre midfielder if the Hammers stay in England’s top flight, according to Claret and Hugh via West Ham News.
The Czech Republic international has enjoyed his short stint in the Premier League so far, defensively he has managed two tackles and two interceptions on average per game, via WhoScored.
Before he made the loan move in January, he had an impressive campaign for SK Slavia Prague, featuring 17 times in the league and scoring eight goals, whilst also picking up two goals in the Champions League, via Transfermarkt.
If West Ham can unlock the attacking threat that these statistics show as well as keeping his performances defensively as good as they have been in the Premier League so far, then the club could have a great player on their hands.
It is easy to see why they will look to find the cash to make this signing in the summer.
