West Ham United: Fans split over Sebastian Haller as striker draws another blank against Wolves

With Manuel Pellegrini’s men failing to score at Molineux, it seemed as though some fans had had enough with record signing Sebastien Haller, whose fruitless 80-minute performance stretched his run without a goal to seven league matches.

Haller has only scored four times since arriving in East London, but just once since scoring three in his first three games – with his most recent strike coming in the Hammers’ defeat to Crystal Palace in early October.

However, some fans defended the 25-year-old striker, while others suggested he is not totally to blame for his barren run.

It is clear that parts of the fanbase are understandably frustrated at the moment, especially judging by this debate over what Haller gives to the club:

Graduated in Sport Journalism (BA) with first-class honours from the University of Brighton and has since had bylines in The Times, sports business publication SportsPro, Football FanCast and The Gooner fanzine.
