Many West Ham fans are hoping that the club will sign Tomas Soucek in the summer after they have enjoyed what they have seen of the loanee so far since his move in January.
The 25-year-old joined from Slavia Prague on a temporary basis after an impressive start to the campaign in the Czech First League, appearing 17 times, scoring eight goals and providing three assists, via Transfermarkt.
This is an impressive tally for a more naturally defensive central midfielder and added to that he also made six appearances in the Champions League, scoring twice.
He has only featured four times for the East London side so far, but Hammers fans are already seeing something that they like and his statistics support the fans optimism. On average he manages two tackles, two interceptions and three clearances per game, via WhoScored.
The Czech Republic international is also desperate to join the club, via Football.London, so it seems likely that this deal could happen in the summer. Many supporters certainly hope that is the case, with one suggesting Soucek has ‘real quality‘.
