According to numerous recent reports, including the Evening Standard most recently, West Ham United are heavily interested in signing Reims striker Boulaye Dia in January – with this report even claiming that talks have officially begun.
Dia, who has been on a hot streak of form in Ligue 1 this season, netting 12 goals in 16 league starts, is currently attracting interest from the Hammers as they continue their quest to sign a replacement for Sebastien Haller.
The club record signing left east London for Ajax at the start of this month, coming as big news given David Moyes’ now worrying lack of options up front.
