It is looking ever more likely that Carlos Sanchez will be leaving West Ham United, whether that is in January or the summer.
His contract comes to an end in the summer of 2020, as per Transfermarkt, while it has been reported by Claret and Hugh (relayed by West Ham News below) that Manuel Pellegrini will accept a fee for the Colombian if it is offered:

Carlos Sanchez is out of contract in the summer and were a fee to be offered it’s likely that Pellegrini might cash in.

Judging by the replies to the tweet reporting this, many West Ham fans would like for him to be let go in January, but they are doubtful their club will be able to get a fee for the 33-year-old.
He has come on as a substitute in three Premier League games this season, but they have only brought him 14 minutes on the pitch, as per WhoScored.
Considering how little he has shown this season, it does seem like wishful thinking if the expectation is that a club will come in to try to buy Sanchez, especially with the knowledge they’ll be able to sign him for free in the summer.
