The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern can’t believe what they’re hearing…
According to Marca, the Reds have made a move for Monaco forward Kylian MBappe in a report that has sent shockwaves around the Transfer Tavern.
Mbappe, of course, is one of Europe’s most talented forwards, having enjoyed a real breakout year in Ligue 1. Impressive both domestically and continentally, with a string of excellent performances in the Champions League, the Frenchman has really made a name for himself in Europe this season.
Liverpool, then, haven’t really been touted with a move as of late, but it would appear as though the Reds have changed their mind. Likely interested by his impeccable goalscoring record despite his young age, Liverpool may well have finally found their Luis Suarez replacement.
That being said, Marca also notes that the Reds are going to have to cough up a fair bit more cash if they want to seal the deal, and so unsurprisingly, Liverpool fans around the world aren’t too confident about this happening.
Indeed, whilst the Liverpool fans on Twitter would love to see Mbappe at Anfield, they just don’t think its going to happen…
