The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern have been pleased to wake up to the news this morning that the club has announced a new long-term agreement with Hotels.com as their official accommodation partner. Whilst it’s not the news that the fans were looking for, it’s still a good deal for the club that will bring in money, you can read more on the Tottenham website.

Whilst this news isn’t as exciting as a new signing, the Spurs fans still got their hopes up when initially seeing the tweet. Most of the Lilywhites were expecting to see the news that the club had signed Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish, as they’ve been linked with the Championship side’s star man for a number of weeks now, especially seeing as the Birmingham club are teetering on the brink of administration.
However, the fans will have to wait longer for some positive transfer news, although they’ll be hoping that the wait isn’t quite as long as it was last season. Last summer the club’s fans had to wait over two months for them to sign a player until they eventually forked out a fee of over £40 million to bring in Ajax’s Davinson Sanchez to North London. However, this summer should prove to be different.

The Spurs fans propping our bar up can rightfully be frustrated with this, as they’ve been expecting a big summer with comments from Pochettino recently. That plus the statement of intent from Daniel Levy with the six-year contract given to Harry Kane has given the fans enough reasons to get their hopes of.
