Why these 2 Crystal Palace players need to downgrade and move to the Championship on loan

The Crystal Palace fans crowded around the jukebox are debating whether their club is now an established Premier League side.

Palace are about to enter their fifth consecutive season in the top flight, but with such instability over the past few years, it’s difficult to proclaim them ‘established’.

The Eagles, who have been flirting with relegation since their return to the Premier League recently drafted in Frank de Boer – the club’s sixth manager in five seasons.

The Dutchman is yet to shape things up personnel-wise but is expected to bring a tactically attractive stamp to Selhurst Park this season.

Still, a number of big names have left the club this summer, including Joe Ledley, Mathieu Flamini and Steve Mandanda.

Fraizer Cambpell and Zeki Fryers have both dropped into Championship and we believe these other TWO players from De Boer’s squad could join them…

JORDAN MUTCH

It’s been a poor time of things since leaving Cardiff City for the 25-year-old. He had a short spell at Queens Park Rangers before a big move to Crystal Palace two years ago.

The midfielder could benefit from some regular game time with one of the Championship’s better sides to reignite his career.

BAKARY SAKO

Like Mutch, Bakary Sako has had a dreadful time in south London. The former Wolves winger would likely be welcomed back at Molineux after such a successful spell and Palace fans would likely be glad to see the back of him.

A move could see Sako emulate Dwight Gayle and do well at Championship level. Whether he can carry that through upon return is up for debate.
