The Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to a story in The Telegraph that claims Mauricio Pochettino has requested a £150 million from Daniel Levy and Joe Lewis for a squad overhaul this summer. Tottenham have been linked with a number of players as Mousa Dembele, Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose could all be leaving the club in the summer.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is keen for Pochettino to extend his contract at the club and he’s reportedly offered the Argentine a new contract worth up to £8.5-million-a-year, although Pochettino wants to know the direction he’s taking the club in before putting pen to paper. Pochettino has been in charge at Spurs for four years now and has will be the first manager to see them into their new home after leaving White Hart Lane at the end of the 2016/17 season.
Tottenham have been linked with a number of players in the last few months. Matthijs De Ligt, Ryan Sessegnon, Kieran Tierney and Jorginho have all been linked with a move to North London and any of them would be a boost to the current squad. Pochettino has been proven right on a number of occasions with signings and whoever the club decide to bring in, the fans will no doubt get behind them.

Can we put at least £30m of that towards player wage increases so we can keep our players?
