Many Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been drooling over a throwback clip involving former players Steve Bull and Andy Mutch after the Midlands club posted on their official Twitter page.
The footage shows an example of the link-up play that the two men used to have when they combined to score a fine goal against Port Vale back on the 17th October 1989.
The tweet prompted some WWFC supporters to reflect upon the pair as it encouraged fans to remember a time before the likes of Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota linked up together.
As per the Wanderers’ official website, ‘Bully’ as he is referenced to made 561 appearances for the club, scoring 306 goals, and also managed four strikes in 13 caps for the English senior international team.
Mutch made more than 300 appearances for Wolves and is a proud member of the club’s Hall of Fame.
These fans reminisced about the striking duo, with one supporter claiming that they are the ‘best front pairing in the famous old gold’:
