Wolverhampton Wanderers fans were going crazy after Ruben Neves scored a brilliant long-range strike in their Europa League win over Espanyol.

Just seven minutes into the second half, Adama Traore whipped in a cross from the right-hand side with a defender half clearing it. It landed at the feet of the Portugal international, who chested it down before unleashing a superb volley into the back of the net. It was the second goal in a 4-0 victory for the Midlands outfit, who were competing in European competition after Christmas for the first time since 1972 (via BBC).

Following the game, the £45m-rated, as per Transfermarkt, ace refused to get too excited over his strike as he claimed ‘a goal is a goal’ (BT Sport via BBC).
