According to the BBC, the Portuguese manager is being lined up as a potential replacement for Arsenal’s Unai Emery if he is relieved of his duties at the Emirates Stadium.
The Arsenal coach is under a lot of pressure after some poor form in the league, leading to stories suggesting that Nuno Espirito Santo could be a “strong contender” if he is eventually sacked.
The Gunners have won just four of their 13 league games so far this season.

In the lead-up to Wolves’ match against Braga tonight, Nuno was asked about his future at Molineux and whether there was any truth in rumours linking him to north London. His response was rather coy.
He went on to say that it would be “disrespectful” to talk about a job which is not available yet, saying “I wouldn’t ever mention an issue which is not a reality”.
It clearly hasn’t filled the club’s fanbase with confidence, though, if Twitter is anything to go by.
When supporters were asked how they were feeling about Nuno’s press conference by the @WolvesFC_latest, many responded with GIFs summarising their emotions – and lots of them seem rather concerned.
