Wolves: Fans flummoxed by Nuno Espirito Santo’s tactical decision

Wolves fans have been having their say on Nuno Espirito Santo’s decision to take off Pedro Neto during their side’s 1-0 defeat to Manchester United.

The 20-year-old made way for Fabio Silva in the 68th minute as the Black Country club went on to have their hearts broken by a late Marcus Rashford strike.

Neto, who has been lauded in recent weeks, started alongside Adama Traore as part of a striking pair. Despite a solid first-half performance, Wolves were unable to capitalise on their chances.

Silva replaced the Portuguese forward to play out the final 20 minutes but failed to have a single shot on goal.

As a result, this left many fans confused as to why Nuno opted to remove Neto from the action, and these supporters made their feelings about the decision clear on social media.
