Being an England supporter at the moment is exciting, to say the least, the country has got a plethora of young talents coming through and at Wolves, Morgan Gibbs-White is certainly one of them. The 18-year-old midfielder has been nothing short of sublime this season and when he came off the bench at St James Park yesterday he showed exactly what he can do yet again.

The young midfielder has shown already that the jump from the Championship to the Premier League isn’t too much for him and after he started against Chelsea on Wednesday evening a lot of the Molineux faithful thought he would be turning the corner in his career, going from a substitute and a bench option to becoming one of the main men under Nuno Espirito Santo and starting matches to great effect.
However, he had to settle for a spot on the bench yesterday away at Newcastle. It didn’t stop him from making a serious impact though, as he came off the bench with half an hour to play and made the game his own. His performance drew praise from Gary Lineker on Twitter and it shouldn’t be long before the 18-year-old represents his country just like Lineker so famously did. There’s no doubting that the Wolves man has everything in place to become a special player, it’s just about knuckling down and meeting that potential.
