Wolves: Fans react as Diogo Jota returns

Many Wolves fans have responded on Twitter after the club tweeted about Diogo Jota’s return.

The Portuguese forward has returned to action after picking up a toe injury, which kept him out of their 2-0 victories against both Watford and Manchester City.

He returned to first-team action on Saturday when Wolves faced Southampton at Molineux. It won’t have been the result Nuno Espirito Santo would have liked, however, as they could only grab a point against the Saints. Jota managed to get on for 28 minutes, where he played on the left flank.

Jota has played seven times this season in the league for Wolves but hasn’t quite shown the form he would have liked. He has scored just once – a last-minute equaliser away at Crystal Palace – and has an average rating of 6.57/10 according to WhoScored, which is the ninth highest in their squad for the Premier League season.

Despite his not so electric start to the campaign, fans were happy to see him back, with some even saying that he looked back to his old self.
